Discourse Space “Journalism: Between Objectivity, Activism, and Awards”

On 11 June 2026, the Grimme Institute will host the discussion forum “Journalism: between objectivity, activism and awards” in Düsseldorf. CAIS researcher Christoph Bieber will join Ellen Heinrichs, Lars Rinsdorf and Çiğdem Uzunoğlu to discuss how public debates on social issues can be better facilitated. The focus is on constructive approaches to managing conflict, including shared rules and a renewed debate culture.
