The International Conference on Learning Analytics & Knowledge (LAK) will take place from April 27 to May 1, 2026, at the University of Bergen in Norway. The event is organized by the Society for Learning Analytics Research, an interdisciplinary network of leading international researchers who study the role and impact of analytics on teaching, learning, training, and development.
Prof. Nikol Rummel, head of the CAIS research program “Educational Technologies and Artificial Intelligence”, will participate as a panel speaker in the workshop “Hybrid Intelligence: Human–AI Collaboration and Learning.” Katharina Teich, who conducted research at CAIS on self-regulated learning in online continuing education courses, will give a presentation together with former CAIS visiting scholar Conrad Borchers from Carnegie Mellon University. In it, they will build on the themes of their paper, which was awarded the Best Paper Award at the European Conference on Technology Enhanced Learning last year.
